Cone D810

Manufacturer: Future Design

Cone D810 is an innovative A2 desktop planetary scanner and it's last born in the Mikrofilm-Service family. The EDS is a new line of professional scanners that has been created by Mikrofilm-Service in order to overcome the usual limitations inherent this category of products. In particular, to offer a superior image quality, ergonomics, ease of use and high productivity in a unique integration solutions.

• Scan area size and resolution can vary according to user needs thanks to the integrated zoom optics and to the variable camera height and position; this makes possible to acquire very large originals and (even larger than the A2 format) or increase the optical resolution over 800PPI on smaller formats.

• Unique V-table solution with automatic shape recognition, deskew and curvature correction features.

• Unrivalled image quality that is far beyond and other similar solution.

• Extremely rapid acquisition time (about 50 full scans per minute).

• Comprehensive EDS acquisition software with many powerful and useful features.

• Extremely easy to use thanks to the EDS software user friendly "icon based' interface.

• Scanner with the glass platen,

• Mechanical cradle allows you to scan objects with thick ridges up to 10 cm,

Cone D810 scanner has been integrated with innovative cradle to how best to maintain the original. This solution has been designed by Microfilm-Service for accurate and sensitive support all kinds of delicate originals.

The Cradle allows scanning large books, maps, drawings and many types of originals even larger than the A2 format and up to 15cm of thickness. In fact, the cradle you can very easily and quickly adapt to the needs and demands of reproduction. Copes well with the digitization of difficult materials such as: seals, pistons, manuscripts, 3D objects, coins, badges, medals.

The Metis EDS software is capable of recognizing the operator fingers (and remove them from the image). Furthermore the acquisition can be automatically triggered when the fingers are recognized. In the EDS system is possible to customize the scan area size and optical resolution depending on the specific requirements. Final image resolution can further be adapted to specifi c needs. There are different ways of customizing the scan area size: by using of the zoom lens; by varying the digital camera height and by moving the digital camera toward the front of the system.
